Professional Consultation
Specialized Support for Therapists Working with Eating Disorders
Working with eating disorders can be both rewarding and challenging. These cases often involve complex clinical presentations, high levels of risk, medical considerations, family dynamics, ethical dilemmas, and deeply entrenched patterns that can leave even experienced clinicians feeling uncertain at times.
I provide supervision and consultation for therapists seeking to strengthen their clinical skills, deepen their understanding of eating disorder treatment, and approach challenging cases with greater confidence and clarity.
Areas of Focus
Consultation and supervision may address:
Eating disorder assessment and diagnosis
Case conceptualization and treatment planning
Anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and OSFED
Weight-inclusive and HAES®-aligned care
Medical and ethical considerations in eating disorder treatment
Harm reduction approaches
Working with families and support systems
Co-occurring trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, and personality disorders
Professional identity development
Burnout prevention and clinician sustainability
Private practice development and clinical decision-making
My Approach
I view supervision and consultation as collaborative learning experiences. My goal is not to provide answers from a place of authority, but to help clinicians develop confidence in their own clinical judgment while expanding their knowledge and skills.
My style is warm, supportive, and grounded in curiosity. Together, we explore case dynamics, challenge assumptions, identify blind spots, and strengthen clinical decision-making. I strive to create an environment where clinicians feel comfortable bringing difficult cases, uncertainties, and questions without fear of judgment.
Experience and Expertise
My professional experience spans multiple levels of eating disorder care, including residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), outpatient therapy, consultation, and supervision. In addition to my clinical work, I have presented nationally on eating disorders, ethics, harm reduction, and weight-inclusive care, and have trained and supervised clinicians across a variety of settings.
I am passionate about helping therapists develop the knowledge, confidence, and clinical flexibility necessary to provide ethical, effective, and compassionate care.

I believe that when clinicians feel supported, clients benefit. My goal is to help you build the confidence and competence needed to provide effective, ethical, and sustainable care.
