Eating Disorder Therapy
Healing Your Relationship with Food, Your Body, and Yourself
Driven by passion
Living with an eating disorder can be exhausting. Thoughts about food, weight, exercise, or body image can consume an incredible amount of mental and emotional energy, often leaving little room for the things that matter most. Whether you are struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, chronic dieting, compulsive exercise, or disordered eating patterns that do not fit neatly into a diagnosis, recovery is possible.
I provide specialized eating disorder treatment for adolescents and adults seeking a compassionate, individualized approach to healing. My goal is to help you move beyond symptom management and toward a life that feels more flexible, connected, and meaningful.
A Specialized Approach to Eating Disorder Treatment
Eating disorders are complex illnesses that affect far more than eating behaviors alone. They often intersect with anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, depression, relationship difficulties, identity development, and life transitions. Effective treatment requires an understanding of both the symptoms and the underlying factors that contribute to them.
Many of my clients come to therapy after previous treatment experiences have not fully addressed the complexity of their eating disorder, body image concerns, or co-occurring mental health needs. Together, we take the time to understand your unique experiences and create a treatment plan that reflects your individual goals, strengths, and challenges.
My work is grounded in evidence-based treatment, clinical expertise, and a deep respect for the courage recovery requires.
My Philosophy
I practice from a Health at Every Size® (HAES®) and weight-inclusive perspective. I believe that health cannot be accurately determined by weight alone and that people deserve compassionate, respectful care regardless of body size.
Recovery is not about achieving the "perfect" body or following another set of food rules. It is about reclaiming your life from the eating disorder, reconnecting with your values, and developing a relationship with food and your body that is rooted in flexibility, trust, and self-compassion.
Therapy is not a place for judgment. It is a place to explore, understand, and heal.
Why Specialized Care Matters
My experience spans multiple levels of eating disorder care, including residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), outpatient therapy, consultation, and clinical supervision. I have presented nationally on eating disorders, ethics, harm reduction, and weight-inclusive care, and I continue to train and supervise clinicians specializing in eating disorder treatment.
This breadth of experience allows me to support clients across a wide range of presentations, from individuals newly recognizing their struggles to those navigating recovery after years of treatment.
